Datsusara MMA Combat Gi-01 (Titaniumweave)
We chose a hemp/cotton blend for our gi's because it's the most functional material for making lightweight, durable, and flexible gi's. Our hemp/cotton blend takes on the properties of both both fabrics. It is very strong, resistant to bacteria, lightweight and a bit more breathable while also providing the comfort of a cotton gi. Datsusara MMA is not selling you the same cheap gear simply re-branded, we strive to make our gear more functional to improve your training.

• Made from a 600g/m2 (17oz) weave, but feels lighter than an average single weave thanks to the fabric blend
• Due to the properties of the hemp blend the gi actually gets softer and more comfortable with each wash while retaining it's strength, it wears in rather than wearing out

Order Notes:
We have only one size available for now, 175 CM (about an A2), please check our manufacturers size chart carefully for details. The gi will fit someone about 5'10'' after a cold water wash, and with hot water washing it will fit anyone down to 5'7'' (depending on how hot the water is). The gi is cut somewhat baggy so weight should not be an issue. We will offer more sizes on the next run.
All gis are natural white for this run as full bleaching weakens the fabric.
We recommend using Procion™ fabric dyes (available in art supply stores and online) if you want to color your gi, they work quite well as you can see on our test gi (pic below). We will also offer more colors on the next run. |
